2024 was a banner year for the Queen of Hearts where we saw three winners take home the jackpot throughout the year. We have seen the excitement grow even more during the Fall as the Queen has not been found after thirty-three attempts. With only twenty-one cards left, the next time the queen of Hearts Committee gets together, it is anticipated that the Lodge will be packed with Freedom Brats being provided by the Veteran Committee in the Dining Room. The Holidays allowed the Queen to get some rest, but the recent cold snap has forced an unusual turn of events that has pushed the membership to wait even more as the first drawing of 2025 will not be until January 14th – whereas the Committee will have its usual three-card pull night occur this night.
