Thursday September 28th, 2023, the Lodge conducted its 5th Annual Flag Retirement Ritual. The somber ceremony was conducted on the front lawn adjacent to the Flagpole nearby (and Flag Repository Box) by Boy Scouts from Troop 492 (Chartered out of Bellerive Elementary PTO located in Creve Coeur). In all, 25 Flags were destroyed in a proper dignified manner. This event was implemented in conjunction with the Saint Louis Elks #9 Americanism and Youth Activities Committees.
