Once processed, each unit collected translates to 3x the total for nearly 100 units of life saving blood-product (blood, platelets, plasma)!!! Well done #9, very well done!! Weather, holidays or tragic events can impact blood inventories. Every day, patients who need blood are in crisis and you can help by volunteering to donate. Less than 10% of the population gives blood, so donors that give on a regular basis are important to meet these needs.
